Korean Dermatological Association (KDA) was officially founded in 1947 as an organization dedicated to the science and medicine of dermato-urology, until 1954 when dermato-urology was separated into two fields of medicine.
In 1997, a commemorative scientific meeting was held in honor of the 50th anniversary of the organization.
Today, KDA has nine regional dermatological societies under its wing with a total of 1,301members all over the nation.
KDA also began publication of its own monthly national journal, the Korean Journal of Dermatology, and an English publication, the Annals of Dermatology, which is issued quarterly. |
