To promote the study of and to encourage the advancement of dermatology. |

To coordinate and correlate the efforts of organizations, companies, associations, societies, |

institutions, statutory bodies and other authorities and individual interested in dermatology |

all over the world, especially in Asian countries. |

To promote, foster, develop and assist the dermatologists of all Asian countries, other |

medical and allied professions in the study of and the acquisition, dissemination and |
| |
application of knowledge and information concerning dermatology. |

To encourage and stimulate research in dermatology in furtherance of the objects of the |
| |
Association. |
|
To stimulate public interest and provide public education in dermatology. |
|
To hold an Asian Dermatological Congress (ADC) every three years or at any such time |
| |
interval as the Council deem fit and to sponsor additional international activities in any parts |
| |
of the world. |
